Launched last week, the annual Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) brought together entertainment and promotions, gastronomic offers and mega prizes in its program.
What will the Dubai Shopping Festival offer this year?
The 28th largest retail festival in the world will last 46 days – from December 15 to January 29.

ENTERTAINMENT
The daily fireworks show, produced by Al Zarooni, will take place from December 16 to January 29 at Burj Al Arab, Bluewaters Island, Khor Dubai, Al Seef, Dubai Frame, Dubai Festival City Mall and JBR with 20:30 to 21:00.
The drone show will feature two brand new themed shows, Dubai Shopping Festival and The Future of Dubai, which was inspired by what the city will be like in 2040. Both programs will impress viewers with original music and advanced 3D drone technology. Shows will take place twice a day at 19:00 and 22:00 at The Beach and Bluewaters opposite Jumeirah Beach Residence. On New Year's Eve, shows will be held at 20:00 and 23:00. Laser shows will be December 23-24, January 13-14 and January 27-28.
New to this festival is the Dubai 80s pop-up at the Last Exit Al Khawaneej food court. From December 23 to January 8, you can nostalgic for old-school pop-ups in the style of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. And from January 13 to 15, Hatta will host the COREUNITY festival, where you can listen to music, dance and just have a good time. Art connoisseurs will be interested in the Quoz Arts Fest festival, which will again be held at the Alserkal Avenue art center on January 28 and 29.
Dubai Beats will feature performances by 10 artists across a variety of musical genres on 6 and 7 January. Tickets are available on the Platinumlist website at a price of 120 dirhams (about 2200 rubles). Also, the production of OVO by Cirque du Soleil will take place from January 12 to 18 at the Coca-Cola Arena. Tickets start at AED 113 (about 2,100 RUB).
Famous Hollywood film score composer Hans Zimmer and his 45-piece band, orchestra and dancers will put on a sensational show 27 January at the Coca-Cola Arena. Ticket prices start at AED 495 (about 9200 RUB) and are available at dubai.platinumlist.net.
FAVORABLE OFFERS AND DRAWINGS
More than 800 participating brands in 3500 outlets will offer discounts from 25% to 75% throughout the festival. On top of that, DSF Daily Surprises stock returns with incredible deals from different brands each day of the festival, with many of these deals being made public just 24 hours before they launch. DSF Markets, free to enter, will offer outdoor and pop-up shopping at iconic locations across the city, including Al Seef Market in Dubai Creek and DSF Market in Al Muraqqabat.
The annual Etisalat MOTB event is celebrating its 10th anniversary and will run from January 19-29. It will bring together regional food and drink vendors, various retailers, as well as live performances by local artists.
As part of the Dubai Gold & Jewelery Group buyers who purchase gold, diamond or pearl jewelry in the amount of 500 UAE dirhams (about 9,800 rubles) or more in participating stores will have a chance to win 250 grams of gold. And the DSF Mega Raffle ticket, which can be purchased for 200 dirhams (about 3,900 rubles) at ENOC or EPPCO gas stations, will give customers a chance to win a new Nissan Patrol and 100,000 dirhams in cash (about 1.9 million rubles) every day.
Dubai Shopping Malls Group will give shoppers at participating malls the opportunity to win up to AED 1 million (19.6 million RUB) on purchases over AED 200 (approx. RUB 3,900) between December 15 and January 29. And with the daily DSF Lucky Receipt giveaway, guests who spend a minimum of AED 500 from December 15 to 25 at any store in ten participating brands can win TVs, iPhones, gold and jewelry sets.
