Since last year, many travelers have been catching up. But as borders reopen and pandemic fears subside, not everyone is planning a new trip.
According to Morning Consult's 2022 State of Travel and Hospitality report, some people never no longer plan to travel for leisure.
More than 16,000 adults in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific were surveyed to compile the report. It was found that after a sharp increase at the beginning of the year, the intention to travel fell sharply in July.
Which nationalities travel the least in their free time?
The report polled people from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Spain, UK and USA.
Respondents from Japan were the most not inclined to travel: 35% of them said they never plan to go on vacation again. This is followed by South Koreans, 15% of whom never plan to travel, followed by China and the United States, 14% each.
