Which hotels do Russians choose at home and abroad?

According to OneTwoTrip, tourists traveling around Russia prefer more affordable hotel options compared to traveling abroad.
Service specialists conducted a study of the cost of living in hotels in different cities of the world. They identified several price categories and analyzed hotel bookings for the autumn period in Russia and abroad.
The study showed that in Russia tourists most often choose more budget accommodation options: a third of all orders are for rooms that cost from three to five thousand rubles per day. Every fifth bookes rooms that cost less than three thousand rubles per day. In the interval between five and seven thousand rubles per night, only 19 percent of tourists are willing to pay, and from seven to ten thousand rubles – 14 percent. Eight percent of travelers choose rooms with prices ranging from ten to 15 thousand rubles per day, and only five percent are willing to pay for rooms more expensive than this amount.
Hotels where the cost of a daily stay exceeds 15 thousand rubles are in greatest demand abroad – they account for 27 percent of orders. The share of room bookings with prices ranging from ten to 15 thousand rubles is 18 percent, and from seven to ten thousand rubles – 17 percent.
15 percent of tourists who are willing to pay from three to five show interest in budget accommodation options thousand rubles per room per day. The least in demand are hotels where the cost of living is from five to seven thousand and less than three thousand rubles per day. These options were booked by 13 and 10 percent of tourists respectively.
