A rich cultural and entertainment program awaits all visitors.
Tyumen will take part in the Night of Factories campaign
August 12, within the framework of the federal project “Night of Factories” Tyumen will host the first festival-journey “Explorer”. The event will be held near the Tyumen railway station, where historical architectural buildings are located.
The head of the city noted that the branch of the railway includes the buildings of old water towers, a fan depot and outbuildings with a unique history, which will be told at the festival.
Visitors of the event will be able to enjoy a musical apartment, attend a fair and master classes of Tyumen artisans, see street performances, a fashion show of Russian designers, a photographic exhibition and an exhibition of contemporary art.
Recall, the station “Tyumen” was established in 1885 during the construction of the railway route Yekaterinburg – Tyumen. In 1912 it became part of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The original two-story brick building of the station has not been preserved, and the modern station complex was opened in 1974.
On August 12, six Ural enterprises located in the Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen Regions and Bashkiria will take part.
In total, plants from 18 cities of Russia take part in the festival this year. Organizers expect around 4,000 people to visit the venues and another 5,000 to watch the live stream.
