Lomidze noted at a press conference that Turkey was among the five most expensive destinations, which is unusual, given that this country has always been considered a mass and affordable destination.
The most expensive destination in the summer was the Maldives, where the average cost of a 10-day trip for two was about 390 thousand rubles. In second place was Cuba with an average cost of 238 thousand rubles for two, and third place was taken by Sri Lanka with an average price of 213 thousand rubles. Turkey took fourth place with a price of 183 to 185 thousand rubles for two.
According to Lomidze, Russia became the most affordable travel destination, the average cost of trips for which amounted to 80-85 thousand rubles for two people. taking into account the flight.
Lomidze noted that compared to the summer of 2022, prices for all destinations increased by 15%. However, in Russia this dynamics is somewhat lower than in foreign destinations, which is explained not by the humanism of resorts or demand, but by the strengthening of the dollar and the euro against the ruble.
