Tourists in Peru can't get to Machu Picchu
Tourists in Peru have encountered a problem, many of them cannot purchase tickets to Machu Picchu – the city of the Incas, located in Peru. People have been standing in a long line since night.
In mid-July, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture reported high demand to visit this complex, all online tickets were sold out until August. However, it is still possible to get to Machu Picchu by purchasing tickets directly from the ticket offices of the city of Aguas Calientes, from where the tourist routes to this place begin.
The authorities have assured that a thousand such tickets are allocated every day. In total, 4044 people can get to Machu Picchu per day.
However, tourists still complain that they cannot get to Machu Picchu. According to them, they have been standing in line since two in the morning, when the box office starts working, but they cannot get tickets. It is noted that tickets are quickly sold out from the very beginning of the box office.
