Air tickets are not enough for everyone
Tourists from Russia sold out flights to Turkey until July
There are not enough air tickets to Turkey for everyone who wants to relax, places on flights Turkish carriers are practically sold out until mid-summer, Interfax reports on Thursday, citing the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
Now eight airlines from 17 Russian cities fly direct flights to Turkish resorts. In 2021, 18 airlines from 46 cities operated such flights.
"In the first week of June, 452 flights from Russia landed in Antalya, on which more than 100,000 tourists arrived. While maintaining the current dynamics for the entire month, Antalya will receive about 500 thousand tourists from Russia. This is 42% less than in the same month of 2019,” ATOR notes.
