Association of Tour Operators of Russia ( ATOR) reported that the Russians canceled 25% of trips to Crimea after the recent explosion on the Kerch bridge.

It happened on the night of Saturday, October 8th. Soon, traffic along the surviving automobile lane and railway track was resumed.

For those clients of tour operators who had to leave on the day of the explosion and could not cross the Kerch Strait, hotel stays were extended free of charge.

According to ATOR, now tourists who have completed their vacation in Crimea are scheduled to go home. Some vacationers book tours to the peninsula in the near future, many for the November holidays, the new year and 2023.

According to the latest data, the railway crossing managed to restore the movement of long-distance passenger trains and freight trains. The trains have not yet started running according to the previous schedule.
