The presentation of the tourism potential of St. Petersburg took place at the Russian Center for Science and Culture “Russian House” in Belgrade. This was reported by a TASS correspondent from the scene on Wednesday.
Representatives of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg presented a tourist map of trips along the Silver Necklace routes, and also highlighted the new conceptual approaches to travel formed by the city. Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Tourism Forum, which will be held in December this year, press tours were announced to further develop tourism cooperation between Belgrade and St. Petersburg. “Different tourists from different countries come to us. But guests from Serbia are always the most beloved, because they come to us with love”, – emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee of the city of Nana Gvichia, adding that it was St. Petersburg “in 1990 that became the first Russian object included in the UNESCO List”.
Earlier on Wednesday, a solemn opening ceremony of the Information Business Center of St. Petersburg took place in Belgrade. The main tasks of the center will be promoting the investment attractiveness of St. Petersburg in Serbia, developing trade and economic relations between St. Petersburg and Serbian enterprises, holding industry and business presentations and events. In addition, a permanent exposition will be placed on the territory of the Information Business Center, telling about the potential of St. Petersburg in the field of digital technologies, science, education, tourism, sports, culture and other areas.
The opening took place as part of a cultural and business mission Petersburg to Serbia on October 25-29. The operator of the center was Yugosovero LLC, the general director of which is a Serbian businessman Alexander Brankovich.
