Czech Republic has suspended issuing visas to Russians

Citizens of Russia and Belarus until March 2023 will not be issued visas for entry to the Czech Republic, as well as permits for long-term stay in the republic. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a message from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The decision was made by the country's government at the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 24, 2022.

An exception may be humanitarian cases.

Thus, the Czech Republic is trying to put pressure on the authorities of the Russian Federation and Belarus to end the special operation in Ukraine.
