Initially, after the accident, 21 Russian tourists were taken to hospitals, but 10 of them received minor injuries, so after receiving medical assistance, they were able to return to the hotels.

According to preliminary data, the accident occurred as a result of the negligence of the ship's captain. There were 37 people on board the boat at the time of the accident, including 21 Russians and citizens of other foreign countries.
