From August 1, foreign tourists will be able to visit Russia on a single entry e-visa. The same visa will be available to business travelers, participants in various events and some other categories of foreigners.

The visa will be available to citizens of 55 countries, it can be issued on a special online platform E-visa, which was launched today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The unified electronic visa represents a separate category of visas. Foreigners will be able to obtain a single-entry visa for up to 60 days, with the possibility of staying in Russia for up to 16 days.

To obtain a visa, documents confirming the purpose of the trip are not required. An electronic visa will be issued within four calendar days, including weekends and holidays.

With this visa, you can enter the territory of Russia using any type of transport – land, water or air.
