The press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Dagestan announced the recognition of one of the popular tourist routes in the region as a national one.
Five projects of tourist routes were presented to the Expert Council, of which “Legends of Dagestan” was recognized as a national route.
The development of this route began last year and includes elements of five popular excursion programs. The meeting of the expert council was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Executive Director of ATOR.
Dagestan was represented by the Acting Minister of Tourism, Deputy General Director of the travel company “Dag Tour” and representatives of other regions of the Russian Federation in the field of tourism.
