Number of Aeroflot aircraft remaining on the ground due to sanctions named
About fifty Aeroflot aircraft are still on the ground and do not operate flights due to the lack of Western components. They were stopped under sanctions due to the conflict in Ukraine.
According to the Baza telegram channel, 50 aircraft is 25% of the company's entire fleet. The liners are going to be dismantled into parts in order to supply serviceable parts to other aircraft. Repairs are already required for 18 out of 200 aircraft of the company.
