An old steam locomotive that was used to operate a tourist retro train burned down in Perm .

The fire broke out on the evening of December 29th. The locomotive was on the second track of the multi-car section workshop at the central city station Perm-2.

The fire blazed for more than an hour, the car burned out completely. The fire was extinguished by five fire brigades. The preliminary cause of the fire was a mistake by the fireman.

The EA-3113 steam locomotive has been running as a retro sightseeing train in Perm since 2019. The Perm Railway operated such machines in the middle of the 20th century. The locomotive was produced in the city of Schenectady (USA) for the USSR under the Lend-Lease program in 1944.
