Hotel staff in Anapa carried out 2,300 sets of bed linen
At Mövenpick Resort & SPA Anapa Miracleon 5* in Anapa, 2,300 sets of bed linen and several coffee machines were stolen.
Two employees, aged 23 and 27, gradually took things out of the back room and sold them via the Internet. These employees were noticed and convicted of the theft by their colleagues.
“They had access to the back room. They took out bedding such as pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers. In addition, they stole four coffee machines,” said one of the hotel employees.
Thus, bed linen worth 1.2 million rubles has been stolen since the beginning of the holiday season. A criminal case was initiated under article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, both hotel employees were detained. It also became known that one of them had a previous conviction for the sale and possession of drugs, and the other – for theft.
