Historic building in the center of St. Petersburg will be converted to the hotel
According to representatives of the press service of the Cosmos Hotel Group, in the center of St. Petersburg, it is planned to open a five-star boutique hotel under the Cosmos Selection brand in December. The hotel will be located in a renovated historical building and will have 23 rooms of various categories.
«The opening of a 5* hotel under the Cosmos Selection brand and managed by the Cosmos Hotel Group in the center of St. Petersburg at 8 Italianskaya Street is scheduled for December 2023. This premium hotel is housed in a historic 19th-century building. The total area of the new facility is 2.7 thousand square meters. m», — The message reads.
The President of Cosmos Hotel Group, Alexander Biba, noted that the occupancy of the network's hotels in St. Petersburg exceeded last year's figures. He also noted that the company is trying to preserve the authentic appearance of the building and its interiors, as they are objects of cultural heritage.
Biba said that at the moment the demand is high from both Russian and foreign tourists , and company representatives expect further growth in demand for hotels of all categories in St. Petersburg.
