A Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the village of Tyungur in Gorny Altai, killing six people, and seven were injured.

According to preliminary data, the helicopter caught fire while landing at Tungur in the Altai Republic. Presumably, the helicopter touched the electrical wires, which led to a fire.

The helicopter belongs to the Altai Avia company, it was carrying an excursion group of 15 people, including passengers and crew members.

In place incident, the helicopter of the regional rescue center of the Federal Air Transport Agency departed. Two victims were evacuated by another Altai Avia helicopter. They were taken to the hospital in the village of Ust-Koksa.

A total of eight people were hospitalized in the hospital. Of these, four are in serious condition, four more were diagnosed with moderate injuries.
