Germany resumed accepting applications from Russians for any visas
German Visa Application Centers in Russia have resumed accepting documents for issuance of all types entry visas, including tourist visas, as From June 11, all restrictions on entry into Germany due to COVID-19 have been lifted.
“Entry into Germany is again allowed regardless of the purpose of the trip (including for tourist and private trips). It is no longer necessary to present a vaccination certificate, a certificate of past illness or a negative COVID test to enter Germany. VisaMetric's service and visa centers resume accepting applications for the issuance of visas necessary to enter Germany for any purpose of travel,” the German embassy said in a statement.
