A tourist from Germany died on vacation in South Africa.
This country is a popular holiday destination for Europeans, because there are many natural parks where you can go on a safari and see exotic animals in their natural habitat.
The Republic of South Africa (South Africa) itself is one of the most prosperous and Europeanized countries in Africa. Nevertheless, there is a very high crime rate.
A group of 4 German citizens rested in the Kruger National Park – the oldest in South Africa. It is located in the northeast of the country near the border with Mozambique. It is here that the famous Limpopo River flows. A variety of animals live on its banks.
The Germans were returning from a safari to the hotel in an expensive car. In the White River area, they were stopped by three armed men. There were still 40 km to the destination. The bandits demanded that the tourists get out of the car and hand over their valuables. The driver did not obey, blocked the doors and pressed the gas pedal.
The criminals began to shoot after the car. Unfortunately, one of them turned out to be marks: the bullet hit the driver. He lost control, the car went into a skid and rammed the wall, the driver died.
