Five year-round seaside resorts to appear in Russia by 2030.
In Russia there will be five permanent seaside resorts
According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, by 2030 Russia plans to create five year-round sea resorts this year. These resorts will be located on the Black, Caspian, Baltic, Azov and Japanese Seas.
Chernyshenko stressed that one of the key indicators of the national project is the number of domestic tourist trips, which should reach at least 140 million by 2030. The creation of new seaside resorts, with a volume of 10 million visitors, will make a significant contribution to achieving this goal.
The Caspian coastal cluster (Dagestan), Novaya Anapa and Abrau-Dyurso, Crimea (“Golden sands of Russia” and Saki), Primorsky Krai (Vladivostok, Khasansky district) and Kaliningrad (“Russian Baltica”).
Chernyshenko also said that sectoral departments and regions are already working on building the necessary infrastructure and providing soft loans for the implementation of these projects.
