Border with Russia to be reopened
Finland opens border for tourists from Russia
From June 30, Finland will not extend the restrictive measures related to COVID-19 to the entry of citizens into the country. The border with Russia will be reopened for tourism, the Finnish Interior Ministry said.
As noted in the department, the health authorities have come to the conclusion that such restrictions on the border are not needed. Thus, travelers from third countries are no longer required to present vaccination certificates at border points.
The Finnish Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the lifting of restrictive measures will lead to an increase in the number of people wishing to visit the Scandinavian country, including among Russian citizens.
