Tour operators told where it is more accessible to issue Schengen visas to Russians.
Experts spoke about the difficulties of obtaining Schengen visas visa
The situation with the issuance of Schengen visas remains difficult. Due to holidays, the number of employees in the VC has decreased, which has led to a decrease in the available slots for recording. Booking your French, Portuguese and Spanish visas remains a daunting task. However, France remains quite loyal to Russian tourists and often provides entry documents for long periods – up to 6 months or a year.
The situation in the Italian Exhibition Center is slightly better: there are free slots for the next few weeks, but this applies mainly to the VC in the capital. Italian visas are usually issued for a period not exceeding 3 months. Greek and Hungarian visas are available for faster processing, and these countries usually issue visas for travel dates.
For the UK visa, there are ample slots available at the moment and visa applications can be made as early as September. On average, Russian tourists need about a month to obtain a Schengen visa.
