The Egyptian authorities have introduced a multiple-entry five-year visa. The cost of such a visa is $ 700, it is valid for five years and allows the holder to stay in the country for up to 90 days per trip.
At the end of March, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Ahmed Issa, noted that this visa is mainly intended for for investors and property owners.
Residents of countries with which Egypt has concluded visa-free agreements will not need a new document to enter. However, Russia is not among such states. Citizens of the Russian Federation, in order to obtain a visa to Egypt, must contact the consulate. It is also possible to issue an entry document directly at the airport.
