Temperatures in resorts and in Cairo may exceed 40 degrees. Tourists are advised to avoid direct sunlight, drink cold drinks, wear hats, loose-fitting and light-colored clothing, and remember to wear sunscreen.
“The heat wave will peak at over 40 degrees Celsius in most areas across country and up to 45 degrees Celsius in southern Upper Egypt,” meteorologists say.
