A catamaran with seven tourists capsized in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The travelers were rafting down the Nizhnyaya Tunguska River from the village of Tutonchany to Turukhansk on the Yenisei. The total length of the route is about 400 km. These places are considered wild taiga: there are very few settlements.

In addition, this is the Far North, where even in August the air temperature does not rise above +10 degrees, and the water remains icy, like in winter.

On Saturday, August 27, early in the morning a catamaran with tourists crashed on rocky rapids in the Evenk region. The ship capsized, people were in the water. They were still 125 km downstream to Turukhansk.

Fortunately, the group registered with the Ministry of Emergency Situations in advance. Therefore, help quickly went to them.
