Malaysian low-cost airline AirAsia announced plans to create an aviation hub in Kazakhstan.

Air Asia is one of the largest low cost airlines in Asia. For 25 years, it has carried more than 600 million passengers. The company operates flights to the largest capitals and resorts in Southeast Asia.

Recently, its leaders visited Astana. They announced plans to launch flights from Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok to Almaty, and then to the capital of Kazakhstan. The Malaysian authorities have simplified entry for tourists in advance.

Among the future plans of Air Asia are low-cost flights from Kazakhstan to Istanbul, Paris, London and Frankfurt am Main.

For Russians, this means Another option is to cheaply get on vacation abroad. Due to the conflict in Ukraine and Western sanctions, direct flights between Russia and Europe have been closed this year. Earlier  tour operators have already advised citizens of the Russian Federation to fly on vacation through Kazakhstan.
