Armenia reported about the artillery shelling of the enemy and decided to appeal for help to Russia, the CSTO and the UN Security Council. The decision was made at a meeting of the Armenian Security Council headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “From 00:05 on September 13, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces began intensive shelling from artillery, large-caliber small arms in the direction of Armenian positions near Goris, Sotk and Jermuk,” – reported the Ministry of Defense of Armenia (quote from RIA Novosti). At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan accuses the Armenian military of provocations – according to this version, saboteurs were noticed at the border at night.
