Angola introduces a visa-free regime
The Russian Ambassador to Angola, Vladimir Tararov, said that the bill on visa-free entry into the country for citizens of G20 countries, including Russia, is undergoing interdepartmental approval. The initiative has received the approval of the Angolan Council of Ministers and will be submitted to Parliament for approval.
As a direct instruction from the country's leadership, this initiative is aimed at developing the investment and tourism potential of Angola. At the moment, to obtain a tourist visa to Angola, a consular fee of about $100 is required.
Earlier, Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, announced Russia’s active work on the complete abolition of the visa regime with the countries of the Islamic world . He noted that this will contribute to the development of tourism and business relations between the countries.
