Governor Alexander Beglov announced on his telegram channel that restored historical fountains have been opened in St. Petersburg.

For the fifth year now, the process of restoration and revival of small fountains in the city has been going on. Many of them were previously abandoned or completely destroyed. This time, six fountains were opened in various districts of the city, including Central, Moscow and Kalinin. The reconstruction of each of them was carried out according to historical drawings and photographs.

The Governor also noted that paired fountains were installed in the courtyard of house No. 51 on Liteiny Prospekt in the 1970s. Before the start of the current repair work, instead of fountains, there were ordinary flower beds.
