There was found at least 28 unexploded artillery shells. This was reported by the local authorities of the province.
Divers discovered mines during their dive on the morning of 30 July. As a result, Sofular Beach was temporarily closed, but the rest of the beaches in the area continued to work for vacationers.
“We found at least 28 ammunition, 8 of which were pulled ashore for later disposal,” locals said authorities.
Divers continue to inspect the seabed near the beach. It is planned that the found shells will be defused on August 2.
