Shelter, transportation, and food are rarely denied him.
A 24 year old traveled half the world with $5 in his pocket
Young traveler Ensar Sevindik from Turkey hitchhiked more than 60 countries around the world.
Several years ago, the guy left the university and did not know what to do next. He wanted to travel around the world, but he only had $5. Despite this, 24-year-old Ensar hitchhiked with a backpack on his shoulders.
The good-natured young man counts on the help of people he meets along the way. According to him, he is rarely denied shelter, transportation and food. He searches for accommodation through a mobile app that offers free accommodation.
“There's no better way to get to know the local culture than hitchhiking. For the last 10 months I have been in South America and I ride exclusively on hitches. But now I can speak Spanish,” says Ensar.
The guy does not shy away from temporary work to earn extra money for further trips. For example, now he works in a cafe in the city of Samaipata in Bolivia. Ensar is planning to visit Alaska soon.
